Brand Hackathon · Free for local businesses · Stanford · November 2026

Tell us what eats your week. Silicon Valley builders will build the AI that handles it.

We're bringing 30+ real restaurants, shops and service businesses into a Stanford build challenge with Converge AI. You share one everyday headache, like missed calls, slow replies or forgotten follow-ups. Builder teams turn it into a working AI assistant and show it to you live at Demo Night.

Takes about 5 minutes. No technical knowledge needed.

Who we're looking for

Businesses that talk to a lot of customers

If you or your team answer the same questions every day, chase leads by hand, or lose bookings when the phone rings during a rush, you're exactly who we want.

Restaurants & cafés

  • Reservations and calls during the rush
  • Menu, allergen and hours questions
  • Catering quotes and review replies

Retail & online shops

  • “Where's my order?” and return requests
  • Product and sizing questions in DMs
  • Restock and win-back messages

Booking-based services

  • Salons, studios, clinics, tutoring
  • Scheduling, reminders and no-shows
  • Bringing past clients back

Sales-driven teams

  • Following up on every new lead
  • Quotes, proposals and reminders
  • Keeping the CRM up to date
How it works

From one form to a working demo

  1. 5 minutes

    Tell us your problem

Fill in the short form below. Describe one task that takes too much time, in your own words.

  2. 15 minutes

    Quick intake call

We ask a few questions and help you pick what to share, like FAQs, a menu or example messages. No customer data required.

  3. 2 weeks

    Builders get to work

Your brief goes to builder teams in the Converge AI challenge. They build AI agents around your real workflow.

  4. Demo Night

    See it live at Stanford

Teams demo their solutions on stage. You watch, give feedback, and meet the builders you'd like to keep working with.

The deal

A small ask, a real payoff

What you get

  • Working AI prototypes built around your actual business
  • Several teams' ideas for the same problem, so you can compare
  • Your business featured at a Stanford event, in front of founders and investors
  • A direct line to builders and the Converge AI team if you want to keep going

What we ask from you

  • One clear problem you'd love to stop doing by hand
  • A 15-minute call and a few sample materials you're comfortable sharing
  • Honest feedback on what the teams build
  • Join us at Demo Night if you can (optional, but more fun)

Questions

Good to know

Does it cost anything?

No. Taking part is free for businesses.

Do I need to know anything about AI or tech?

Not at all. Describe the problem the way you'd explain it to a new employee. We handle turning it into a brief for the builders.

Will my customers' information be shared?

Only what you choose to share. Most teams work from FAQs, menus, policies and example messages with personal details removed. We'll go through it together on the intake call.

Do I have to use what the builders make?

No obligation. If you like a solution, we'll introduce you to the team and you can decide together whether to keep going.

I'm not in the Bay Area. Can I still join?

Yes. The intake call is online, and you can follow Demo Night remotely. Being there in person is a bonus, not a requirement.

Can we talk in Chinese?

Yes. Our team works in both English and Chinese.
